Bellflower Teal belongs to Wallflower, the Tilda collection that takes a romantic look at the decorative styles of the 1960s and 70s. The print is small and busy, with trailing teal leaves and mustard bellflowers scattered over a light ground: one of those fabrics that act as a blender between bolder prints in patchwork.
Because the scale is small it cuts easily into squares, triangles and strips, and still reads well in little pieces. It also works for linings, drawstring bags, pouches, doll clothes and the back of a cushion. Pre-wash before cutting so the slight shrinkage happens before you sew; for borders or backings choose one of the larger cuts.
