Elodie Blue

Elodie Blue belongs to Jubilee, the collection Tilda put together for its twenty-fifth birthday, bringing back the most festive prints of past seasons. The design is small and busy: rosette-like flowers in red, pink, yellow and turquoise scattered among blue stems and leaves on a light ground, with a folk-print feel.

Because the motif is small and repeats closely, it still reads well when cut into little pieces: patchwork blocks, borders, linings, drawstring bags, doll clothes and small sewing accessories. It sits easily next to plains and dots from the same collection. Pre-wash the fabric before cutting, so that the slight shrinkage happens before you sew.
