Abloom Iris

Abloom Iris belongs to Bloomsville, the Tilda summer collection built on bright colours and flowers in bloom. It is one of the Abloom blenders, designed to sit behind the bigger prints: the pattern is dense and evenly spread, with no obvious direction, so it still reads well when cut into small pieces, where the coral against lilac keeps its contrast.

It is an easy fabric for quilt blocks and borders, for the visible linings of bags and baskets, and for small sewing projects. It mixes with the other Abloom blenders and with the larger designs in the collection. Pre-wash the fabric before cutting, so that the slight shrinkage happens before you sew.
