Abloom Tomato

Abloom Tomato belongs to Bloomsville, the bright summer collection from Tilda. It is one of the Abloom blenders, the prints designed to sit alongside the larger feature designs: the dense tangle of lilac flowers and leaves on tomato red almost reads as a solid colour once it is cut into small pieces.

It works well for quilt blocks, borders and triangles, and equally for cushions, bags, pouches and dolls. It can be washed at 60 °C and shrinks very little, but a pre-wash before cutting keeps seams stable later on. For long strips, or for the backing of a small quilt, choose one of the larger cuts.
