Abloom Dijon

Abloom Dijon belongs to Bloomsville, the Tilda collection built around bright colours and flowers in full bloom. The Abloom prints are the blenders of the range: a small, closely repeated floral that reads as a coloured background from a distance, here in mint green and blue on a warm mustard yellow. It is the kind of fabric that holds together a quilt made of many different patterns.

It cuts well into squares, triangles and strips, as the design has no obvious direction, and it also suits bags, pouches, cushion covers and details on dolls and decorations. Pre-wash it before cutting, so the slight shrinkage happens before you sew; for borders and backings choose one of the larger cuts.
