Garden Vista Turquoise

Garden Vista is the feature design of the Bloomsville collection, inspired by old chinoiseries and by a motif found on a vase: ladies with parasols, garden pavilions, lakes with little boats and swallows alternate with large blooms on a bright turquoise ground. The print is large and directional, so it shows at its best where it stays whole – the centre blocks of a quilt, a cushion front, a bag, or the back of a patchwork piece.

It sits well with the Abloom blenders from the same collection, which pick up the yellows, pinks and corals of the scene. Pre-wash the fabric before cutting, so the slight shrinkage happens before you sew. For long strips or border bands, choose one of the larger cuts.
