Abloom Turquoise

Abloom Turquoise belongs to Bloomsville, the Tilda summer collection built on bright colours and flowers in full bloom. The Abloom prints are the blenders of the range: a dense two-colour floral that reads almost as a solid from a distance and reveals leaves, blossoms and tiny buds up close. Here ochre yellow and orange on turquoise give a warm, confident contrast.

This is the fabric that ties the larger prints of a quilt together, yet it also stands on its own for cushions, drawstring bags, totes and pouches, where a small-scale motif is never lost in the cutting. Pre-wash the fabric before cutting, so the slight shrinkage happens before you sew; for borders and long strips, choose one of the larger cuts.
