Abloom Sky

Abloom Sky belongs to Bloomsville, the bright, flower-filled summer collection from Tilda. It is one of the Abloom blenders, designed to support the collection's feature prints: a dense two-tone tracery of flowers and leaves that reads almost as a lively solid from a distance, easy to place next to larger motifs without crowding a project.

It works well in the small blocks of a quilt, in borders, pouches, linings and the details of Tilda dolls. The contrast between sky blue and lime is strong, so a little goes a long way in a softer palette. Pre-wash the fabric before cutting, so that the slight shrinkage happens before you sew; if you need long strips, choose one of the larger cuts.
