Sleepybird Mulberry

Sleepybird Mulberry belongs to Hibernation, the Tilda autumn and winter collection built around sleeping animals and woodland motifs, with the Arts and Crafts feel of light elements layered over a dark ground. The print repeats densely and evenly, so it still reads well when cut small: quilt squares and triangles, patchwork blocks, bag linings and pouches.

The deep mulberry background sits easily beside the warm tones of the collection and beside cream or rust solids. This is a medium-weight quilting cotton, easy to handle under the machine needle and equally suited to dolls and soft decorations. Pre-wash it before cutting, so that the slight shrinkage happens before you sew.
