Poppy Seed Duckegg is one of the Tilda basics: a very small print of irregular white dots, like poppy seeds, on a muted sage green ground. From a distance it reads almost as a gently textured solid, which is exactly why it is the fabric to reach for when larger florals need space around them.
Use it for background squares in a quilt, for borders, cushion backs, the lining of bags and pouches, and for Tilda doll clothes, where small-scale prints stay in proportion with the project. Pre-wash the fabric before cutting, so the slight shrinkage happens before you sew. If you need long strips or a quilt backing, choose one of the larger cuts.
