Poppy Seed Mist

Poppy Seed Mist is one of the Tilda basics: a very small print of pale dots sprinkled over a soft sage green that, from a distance, reads almost as a gently textured solid. This is the kind of fabric you always need – to let the busier prints in a quilt breathe, for background blocks, linings, cushion backs and small accessories.

It sits easily beside the floral prints of the Tilda collections and works well for the bodies and clothes of fabric dolls too. Pre-wash the fabric before cutting, so any shrinkage happens before you sew. For borders and long strips, choose one of the larger full-width cuts.
