Poppy Seed Olive

Poppy Seed Olive is one of Tilda's basics: a fine sprinkling of pale dots over a warm olive green, a print so small that from a distance it reads as a gently speckled solid. This is the supporting fabric you always need – quilt backgrounds, sashing between blocks, linings, cushion backs and the details of Tilda dolls.

Being a basic, it sits easily next to the florals and larger prints of the Tilda collections and gives the eye somewhere to rest between busier patterns. Pre-wash the fabric before cutting, so the slight shrinkage happens before you sew. If you need long strips or borders, choose one of the larger cuts.
