Chambray Dots Aqua is one of the Tilda basics: a chambray cotton, woven with two shades of thread, which gives the aqua ground a soft mottled look, scattered with teal dots. This is the kind of fabric you always need when a collection of prints calls for a quiet moment – backgrounds, borders and sashing in a quilt.
It also works on its own for cushions, bags, aprons, dolls and decorations, because the dot stays readable even in small pieces. Pre-wash the fabric before cutting, so the shrinkage happens before you sew; the larger cuts are handy for long strips or for backing a project.
