Chambray Dots are among the most used Tilda basics: a coloured weft woven with a natural warp gives the cloth a slightly flecked surface that softens the contrast of the dots and sits happily next to the florals of the seasonal collections. This burgundy shade reads as a deep pink and works as a background, a border or the backing of a project.
It is a medium-weight quilting cotton, easy to cut and to sew by machine or by hand: good for blocks, cushions, bags, aprons and for the bodies of Tilda dolls and animals. Pre-wash the fabric before cutting, as the shrinkage is noticeable. For long strips or a full backing, choose one of the larger cuts.
