Mille Ginger

Mille Ginger belongs to Sunday Brunch, the softly coloured vintage Tilda collection made for dreamy spring quilts and summerhouse style. Little bunches of roses are spaced evenly across a warm orange ground: a medium-scale print that cuts happily into squares and triangles, and also works on larger pieces such as a cushion back or a tote bag.

The warm background makes it a useful contrast next to the lighter fabrics and the smaller prints of the same collection. Pre-wash the fabric before cutting, so that the slight shrinkage happens before you sew. If you need long strips for borders or binding, choose one of the larger cuts.
