Tasselflower Green belongs to Pie in the Sky, the collection Tone Finnanger dedicated to daydreaming children and the colourful worlds they invent. The print is dense and evenly spaced, with fan-shaped blooms set in rows: it works as a cheerful background in a quilt, and just as well cut into squares and strips, since the small motif is never lost.
The strong green is handy for breaking up the lighter prints in the collection, and suits cushions, pouches, bags, aprons and visible linings. Pre-wash the fabric before cutting, so that the slight shrinkage happens before you sew. For long pieces or border strips, choose one of the larger cuts.
