Wildgarden Red

Wildgarden Red belongs to Jubilee, the collection Tilda put together for its 25th anniversary, gathering cheerful designs from different years. Cream flowering branches spread across a bright red ground, lifted by pale blue daisies and little pink blossoms. The print is busy and medium in scale, so it still reads well when cut into small pieces.

It works for quilt blocks and borders, cushions, bags, gift pouches and Christmas decorations, and makes a lively backdrop for Tilda dolls and softies. Pair it with cream, pink or blue solids and with the smaller prints of the same collection. Pre-wash the fabric before cutting, so that the slight shrinkage happens before you sew.
