Description

A bowl of crocuses in full bloom, designed by Marjolein Bastin with her usual botanical touch: soft shades of lilac, purple and white, green shoots and a little nursery label tied to the rim of the basket.

27 count evenweave is normally worked over two threads with one strand of stranded cotton, which gives the gentle shading the petals need. The DMC threads come already sorted on an organiser, so there is no hunting for numbers. You will still need a hoop or frame, small scissors and, at the end, a frame of your own – the one in the photo is not included. A project best suited to stitchers with a little counted experience.
