Bianca Red belongs to Wallflower, the Tilda collection that takes a romantic look at the ornamental prints of the 1960s and 70s. The design is dense and orderly: garlands of small red leaves form large medallions enclosing pink, blue and turquoise flowers with mustard centres, all on a light ground that keeps the whole thing fresh.
Because the motif repeats often, the fabric works well cut into small pieces too: quilt squares and triangles, bags, pillowcases, pouches, or linings and visible interiors. It sits easily next to the red and blue solids of the same collection. Pre-wash the fabric before cutting, so the slight shrinkage happens before you sew.
