Bushbloom Blue belongs to Something Blue, the Tilda collection born from Tone Finnanger's love of blue and white pottery. The print is a dense flowering bush in cream on a blue ground: small, closely packed motifs that read almost as a texture from a distance and make a calm background for the large-scale prints in the collection.
It is an easy fabric for the small pieces of a quilt, for borders and cushion backs, and equally good for doll clothes, drawstring bags, pouches and notebook covers. Pre-wash the fabric before cutting, so the slight shrinkage happens before you sew. For long strips or for backing a project, choose one of the larger cuts.
