Description

Claramay Blue belongs to Something Blue, the Tilda collection inspired by blue and white pottery. It is one of the blenders in the range: even stripes that read as a light striped fabric from a distance, while up close they reveal drawn lace edgings and trails of tiny roses. A background print that supports the larger motifs instead of competing with them.

The stripes are easy to follow when cutting strips, borders and neat bindings, and the print suits cushions, pillowcases, drawstring bags, bag linings and doll clothes. As the design is directional, keep the run of the stripes in mind when laying out the pieces. A wash before cutting takes care of the slight shrinkage.
