Duck Nest Blue

Duck Nest Blue belongs to Jubilee, the collection Tilda put together for its twenty-fifth birthday, bringing back festive prints from earlier years. Here ducks hide among red stems and white blossoms, arranged in a regular, wallpaper-like repeat: a medium-scale print that works both cut into squares and triangles and left whole.

It suits baby quilts and cot covers, cushions, bags, aprons and small sewing projects, and it mixes easily with the solids and dotted prints of the same collection. Pre-wash the fabric before cutting, so the slight shrinkage happens before you sew; if you need long strips for borders or binding, choose one of the larger cuts.
