Elodie Mustard

Elodie Mustard belongs to Jubilee, the collection Tilda put together for its 25th anniversary, bringing back festive prints from past collections. The design is a dense scroll of rosette flowers and mustard stems: the motifs are small and closely set, so they stay readable even in the little pieces of a patchwork block, in strips and in bag linings.

The light ground and ochre vines make it easy to pair with the solids and dots of the same collection, as well as with darker fabrics that pick up its blue or red. Pre-wash the fabric before cutting, so any shrinkage happens before you sew. If you need full-width strips for borders or backings, choose one of the larger cuts.
