Farm Flowers Teal

Farm Flowers Teal belongs to Jubilee, the collection Tilda put together for its 25th anniversary, gathering cheerful designs from different collections over the years. Here small flower sprigs repeat in a close, regular grid on a teal ground: a small-scale blender print, meant to support larger designs rather than compete with them.

It works well in the smaller pieces of a quilt, in triangles and strips, and just as nicely for linings, drawstring bags, pouches and clothes for Tilda dolls. The teal background pulls together the reds and yellows of the other prints in the collection. Pre-wash the fabric before cutting, so the slight shrinkage happens before you sew.
