Confetti Cerise

Confetti Cerise belongs to Pie in the Sky, the collection Tone Finnanger dedicates to daydreaming children: a bright cerise ground sprinkled with pale petals, with round posies of tiny multicoloured flowers set over it. The repeat is close and regular, so the fabric still reads well when cut into small pieces.

It brings energy to a cheerful quilt, to cushions and drawstring bags, school totes, aprons and clothes for Tilda dolls. It sits happily next to the solids and dotty prints of the same collection, which calm the pink down. Pre-wash the cut before sewing, so the slight shrinkage happens first and the colour settles.
