Confetti Red

Confetti Red belongs to Pie in the Sky, the collection Tone Finnanger dedicates to daydreaming children: a warm red ground sprinkled with pale specks, like confetti, with wreaths of small flowers in cheerful colours settled on top. The print is small and evenly spaced, so it still reads well in the little pieces of a patchwork block.

It works nicely as a lively background in blocks, and for borders, cushion backs, drawstring bags, pouches and doll clothes. It mixes easily with the other prints in the collection and with plain blue, pink or mustard cottons. The price refers to the cut, not to the whole bolt. Pre-wash the fabric before cutting, so the slight shrinkage happens before you sew.
