Willy Nilly Pink

Willy Nilly Pink belongs to Pie in the Sky, the collection Tone Finnanger dedicates to daydreaming children: multicoloured posies set in neat rows on a warm pink ground, with the feel of an old-fashioned printed cotton. The motif is small in scale, so it still reads well in the little pieces of a patchwork block, where a large print would be lost.

It is an easy fabric for block quilts, linings, drawstring bags, pouches, dolls and decorations, and it sits happily next to the other prints in the collection or with plain reds and blues. Pre-wash before cutting so the slight shrinkage happens before you sew. If you need long strips for borders, choose one of the larger cuts.
