Solid Light Blue

Solid Light Blue is a plain pale blue from the Tilda Solids range, made to give printed fabrics room to breathe: it works as a quilt background, as the setting triangles and squares between different prints, as a cushion back or as a lining that picks up the main colour of a project.

Being a solid, it also suits the bodies of Tilda dolls and soft animals, aprons and bags, and it shows off hand embroidery and visible quilting far better than a printed cloth. Pre-wash the fabric before cutting, so the slight shrinkage happens before you sew. For borders and long strips, choose one of the larger cuts.
