Tipsy Yellow

Tipsy Yellow is one of the blenders in Sunday Brunch, the collection Tone Finnanger designed for spring and summer, with the gently vintage mood of a late breakfast in the garden. The print is small and evenly scattered: little pink flowers and blue leaves on a warm yellow that reads as a textured background from a distance.

That makes it the fabric to put between larger quilt blocks, and to use for borders, linings and small sewing projects: pouches, cases, pot holders, dolls and little hearts. It sits happily next to the florals and the larger prints of the same collection. Pre-wash the fabric before cutting, so that the slight shrinkage happens before you sew.
