Blender - Lila Coral

Lila Coral is one of the Songbird blenders, the collection Tone Finnanger drew after a trip to Venice, giving Art Nouveau florals a lighter, more naive feel. The print is small and evenly spread, its pale outlines running over a warm coral ground, so from a distance it reads almost as a textured solid – useful for filling blocks, borders and backings without competing with large-scale prints.

It also stands on its own for cushions, pouches, bags and linings, and in creative sewing for dolls and decorations. Pre-wash the fabric before cutting, so that the slight shrinkage happens before you sew. If you need long strips for borders or binding, choose one of the larger cuts.
