Blender - Lila Green

Lila Green belongs to Songbird, the Tilda collection born from a trip to Venice and from a taste for Art Nouveau, here redrawn in a lighter, more naive way. It is one of the Blenders: dense, even designs meant to sit alongside the larger prints of the collection without stealing the show. The olive green with pale outlines works well as a background, as a border, or as the fabric for leaves and stems in floral blocks.

The cotton is fine and soft, easy to sew by hand as well as by machine: beyond quilting it suits cushions, bags, pouches, dolls and decorations. Pre-wash before cutting, so that the slight shrinkage happens before you sew. For long strips, choose one of the larger cuts.
