Blender - Lila Light Yellow

Lila Light Yellow is one of the blenders in the Songbird collection, which grew out of a trip Tone Finnanger made to Venice and its echoes of Art Nouveau. The design is drawn in fine lines with no solid fills, so from a distance it reads almost as a tone-on-tone background: exactly the kind of fabric that gives busier prints room to breathe in a quilt.

It works well for background blocks, borders and cushion backs, and equally for pouches, linings and dolls. Pre-wash the fabric before cutting, so the slight shrinkage happens before you sew. If you need long strips for sashing or binding, choose one of the larger cuts.
