Blender - Stella Coral

Stella Coral belongs to Songbird, the collection Tone Finnanger drew after a trip to Venice, with a nod to Art Nouveau ornament. The print is a dense, scrolling foliage dotted with tiny daisies, where warm coral alternates with the sage green of the background: an all-over design with no obvious top or bottom, so it can be cut in any direction.

It is one of the collection's Blenders, the fabrics meant to fill in around larger prints: quilt blocks, borders, cushion backs, pouches, bags and linings. Pre-wash the fabric before cutting, so the slight shrinkage happens before you sew. For long strips or a quilt backing, choose one of the larger cuts.
