Cottonfield Eggplant

Cottonfield Eggplant belongs to Sanctuary, Tilda's soft, muted autumn/winter collection built around the idea of your own quiet corner. The print is small and densely packed: cream cotton bolls, little pink daisies and dotted sprigs over an eggplant ground that keeps the whole thing warm and deep.

Because the scale is small it works well in the little pieces of patchwork, in borders and on cushion backs, and it makes a dark anchor for the lighter fabrics in the collection; it also suits dolls, drawstring bags and small sewn accessories. Pre-wash the fabric before cutting so the slight shrinkage happens before you sew. For long strips, choose one of the larger cuts.
