Flora Sage

Flora Sage belongs to Songbird, the collection Tone Finnanger designed after a trip to Venice, with a light nod to Art Nouveau: large flowers and twining leaves, hand-drawn in dusty pastel shades. The print is dense and all-over, so it still reads well on small pieces, where the motif is never lost.

It is an easy fabric for cushions, bags, quilts, pouches and for Tilda dolls and animals, and it sits happily next to the green and pink solids from the same line. Pre-wash the fabric before cutting, so the slight shrinkage happens before you sew. For borders or long strips, choose one of the larger cuts, which come in the full width of the bolt.
