Mira Caramel

Mira Caramel belongs to Sanctuary, Tilda's autumn/winter collection in soft, muted shades. The print is small and evenly spaced, with pale little flowers and leafy sprigs scattered over a caramel ground: it is one of the blenders, the linking fabrics that give larger prints room to breathe in a quilt.

It is an easy fabric to cut into small pieces, since the motif still reads well in squares and triangles, and it works nicely as a background, a border or a cushion back; it also suits country-style projects and Tilda dolls. Pre-wash the fabric before sewing so that any shrinkage happens first. If you need long strips, choose one of the larger cuts.
