My Neighborhood Mustard

My Neighborhood Mustard belongs to Hometown, the Tilda collection built around the love of home and community: shingled houses, blossoming trees, gardens and little birds drawn in cream on a warm mustard ground. The print is small and busy, so it also works well in the smaller pieces of a quilt, where it reads almost as a textured solid.

It is an easy fabric for cushions, bags, autumn quilts, dolls and decorations, and it sits happily next to the other warm-toned prints in the collection. Pre-wash it before cutting, so that the slight shrinkage happens before you sew. If you need long strips or a backing, choose one of the larger cuts.
