Solid Dark Granit

Solid Dark Granit is a dark grey plain fabric from the Tilda Solids range, made to sit alongside the printed fabrics of the collections. In a quilt it gives the printed blocks room to breathe, in borders and backings it adds a quiet, grounding tone, and it works just as well for cushions, bags, pouches and aprons.

It is a medium-weight quilting cotton, easy to cut and to sew by machine, and suitable for appliqué as well as for Tilda doll clothes and hair. Pre-wash the fabric before cutting, so that the slight shrinkage happens before you sew. If you need a continuous piece for a quilt back or for long strips, choose one of the larger cuts.
