Blender - Lila Light Blue

Lila Light Blue belongs to Songbird, the collection Tone Finnanger drew after a trip to Venice, giving Art Nouveau motifs a lighter, naive twist. The print is dense and finely drawn, with pale blue flowers and tendrils on a cream ground: from a distance it reads almost as a soft solid, which is exactly why it is one of the collection's blenders.

It is the fabric to reach for when you need backgrounds in a quilt, small pieces within blocks, linings, pouches, dolls and cushions – something that supports the bolder prints without competing with them. Pre-wash before cutting so the slight shrinkage happens before you sew. For borders and backings, choose one of the longer cuts.
