Myrtle Teal

Myrtle Teal belongs to Village Life, the Tilda collection that looks back to old wallpapers and pretty vintage dresses. The roses repeat at regular intervals in a warm red that the teal leaves keep calm: a medium-scale print that works both in quilt blocks and in small pieces, since the motif still reads clearly once cut.

It suits cushions, bags, quilts, clothes and dresses for Tilda dolls, and sits easily next to the solids and small prints of the same collection, in the autumnal palette of rust, ochre and greens. Pre-wash the fabric before cutting, so the slight shrinkage happens before you sew. For long borders, choose one of the larger cuts.
