Blender - Stella Sage

Stella Sage belongs to Songbird, the collection Tone Finnanger drew after a trip to Venice, with a light nod to Art Nouveau and a palette of dusty pastels. The interlacing leaf pattern covers the whole surface with no obvious repeat, so from a distance it reads almost as a coloured background and sits happily next to the small florals and plainer prints in the same range.

It suits quilt blocks and borders, the back of a cushion, bags, pouches and notebook covers. Pre-wash the fabric before cutting, so the slight shrinkage happens before you sew; for long strips or for the backing of a larger project, choose one of the bigger cuts.
