Daisyfield Taupe

Daisyfield Taupe belongs to Chic Escape, the collection Tone Finnanger designed around old French chateaus brought back to life, vintage fabrics, pottery and flowers. The print is a small scattered meadow of daisies and little posies on a warm taupe ground: a medium-scale design that works well cut into small pieces for quilt blocks and equally well across whole panels, such as a cushion back, a bag or an apron.

The neutral background makes it easy to combine with the other fabrics in the collection and with plain cottons in pink, plum and soft yellow. Pre-wash the fabric before cutting, so the slight shrinkage happens before you sew; for long strips, choose one of the larger cuts.
