Flowermarket Plum

Flowermarket Plum belongs to Bloomsville, the Tilda collection built around bright summer colours and flowers in full bloom. The print is dense and medium in scale: open pink blooms, stems and lime green leaves, small coral and blue buds over a deep plum ground that gives the fabric a strong, confident look.

It works well in the larger blocks of a quilt, on the back of a cushion, and in bags, pouches and aprons, where the motif stays readable; cut into small pieces it reads almost as a coloured background. It pairs easily with the Abloom blenders from the same collection, which calm the pattern down. Pre-wash the fabric before cutting, so the slight shrinkage happens before you sew.
