Medium Dots Light Grey

Medium dots are one of the Tilda classics: an even, quiet print that works as a neutral background next to the busier florals of the same brand. The light grey ground with cream dots stays soft and sits happily with pink, sage, pale blue and taupe.

It suits quilt blocks, borders and cushion backs, and is just as good for bags, fabric baskets and the bodies of stuffed dolls and animals. Pre-wash the fabric before cutting: shrinkage is noticeable, so it is better dealt with before sewing. If you need long strips or wide background pieces, choose one of the larger cuts.
