Sue Teal

Sue Teal belongs to Jubilee, the collection Tilda put together for its 25th anniversary, gathering festive prints from earlier ranges. The rose posies here are small and closely set: a fine-scale design that still reads well once cut into squares and triangles, which makes it handy for quilt blocks, linings, bag casings and clothes for Tilda dolls.

The teal ground sits easily next to neutrals and the pinks of the same collection, for a lively but tidy result. Pre-wash the fabric before cutting, so the slight shrinkage happens before you sew; for borders and long strips, choose one of the larger cuts.
