Mira Slate

Mira Slate belongs to Sanctuary, the muted autumn/winter collection from Tilda. It is one of the Blenders: the mint green sprigs and little leaves are small and evenly spaced, so the fabric works as a quiet background next to the larger prints of the collection without competing with them.

The small scale suits patchwork with little pieces, sashing and borders, and it is just as good for bags, pouches, pillowcases and doll clothes. The slate grey ties the greens to warmer shades. Pre-wash the fabric before cutting, so that the slight shrinkage happens before you sew; if you need long strips, choose one of the larger cuts.
