Poppy Seed Mouse

Poppy Seed Mouse is one of Tilda's basic fabrics: minute pale dots scattered at random over a warm taupe ground. From a distance it reads almost as a softly textured solid, which makes it useful for block backgrounds, borders, cushion backs and the linings of bags and pouches.

This is the kind of fabric you always reach for when working with a printed collection: it calms down the larger designs and holds the colours together. Being a close, stable cotton it cuts into strips easily and also works well for the bodies of dolls and small fabric animals. Pre-wash it before cutting.
